Sonnet {30}

Above are images of my assemblage for Sonnet 30. Im still thinking how to improve this one, it seems a little bare. Inside the box I have an image of the old fashioned countdown to a film, on frame number '10', and the numbers along the side are reference numbers to where within the sonnet the word 'time' or time related words are found, e.g.  30.02.12= Sonnet 30. Line 02. Word 12

  1. Nice! Is there a reason the projector reels are white? Aren't they normally black? Also with the 10 – it looks pencil drawn again here, which doesn't quite communicate that it is from film. Can you print it onto the acetate (if that's what it is). I really want the reels to turn – could you figure out how to do that? So you can see the text move? The idea here is flickering memories of times past, I think, so could you play with having layers of acetate with 'ghosted' figures? Maybe build up a couple of layers so some are more visible than others and you can see through them (that may not make any sense)
